Horizonte - holding on,letting go

Manchmal muss man einfach an's Meer fahren, um glücklich zu sein, so werde ich es eines Tages meinen Kindern beibringen. Manchmal muss man einfach seinen Horizont erweitern, um nicht länger müde und teilnahmslos zu sein, so haben es mir meine Eltern und Lehrer beigebracht.

Und was lerne ich nun, was wünsche ich mir, und wo liegt das Glück?

Ich will doch einfach nur den Horizont sehen.

Sometimes you just have to go to the sea, to be happy, that's what I'll teach my kids. Sometimes you just have to expand your horizons to not be tired and numb any more, that's what my teachers and parents taught me.
What do I actually learn, where's happiness?

I just long to see the horizon.

Manchmal muss man einfach nur loslassen, um sich an etwas neuem festhalten zu können, so bringt es mir das Leben mit meinen Mitmenschen bei. Manchmal muss man einfach nur Momente festhalten, um die Hände nicht leer und die Finger nicht kalt werden zu lassen - das lerne ich als ich mir die Fotos dieses Wochenendes anschaue.

Sometimes you just have to let go to hold on again, that's what relationships taught me. Sometimes, you just have to hold on to moments, to not let your hands be empty and your fingers be cold - that's what I learn while viewing my photographs.

Manchmal muss man einfach nur den Horizont sehen, um festzustellen, dass man darin am Ende doch nur sich selbst erblickt. Und manchmal muss man einfach nur zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort sein, um Heilung zuzulassen. 

Sometimes you simply have to see the horizon to realise, that you will only see yourself in it. And sometimes, you simply have to be at the right place at the right time to be healed.

We can fly as high as we want to, as far as we're longing to, under our skies that won't have any frontiers.

Wir werden fliegen, so hoch und weit wir wollen, unter unseren Himmeln die nicht länger voller Grenzen sind.
